Family;

My Mom's Side: On my Mother's side of the family, we have TRADITIONS. It's like, on Christmas Eve we all gather at one of my aunt's house and open presents at 12 o'clock midnight. Its a really fun thing that we do. My mom makes tamales, my Tia Petra makes Buñuelos, and all of my aunts and mom make champurado together. It's a little party because it's Christmas and it's my Tia Lolis' birthday. My mom's side of the family is huge! So many cousins to have a party with. I have around 15 first cousins, and theres more second and third cousins.

Then it's my Dad's Side: I inherit things. Its weird because my dad has only 1 sister and my aunt has no kids of her own. So, it's kind of like I have 2 sets of parents. My aunt and uncle are most likely going to pass down their treasures to me and my brother. Just last year my aunt gave me a ring that my grandma gave her. It was probably suppose to go to my aunt's daughter, but she has none. It's kind of an honor and a burden to inherit things from my aunt because I feel special it's me but then again I wish it could of been her daughter.
